Services

Controls and software built around your equipment, your operators, and your production goals. Dark Horse Custom Solutions provides industrial automation and system integration support from planning through startup and ongoing troubleshooting.

PLC programming & integration

Machine sequencing, material tracking, motion control, equipment handshakes, and industrial communications. We develop new controls and improve existing programs, with clear operating states, useful diagnostics, and practical fault recovery.

HMI & SCADA

Operator interfaces, alarm presentation, supervisory control, and process visibility. Ignition is our preferred SCADA platform. Screens and workflows are built around the decisions operators and maintenance teams need to make, from machine status and troubleshooting to production reporting.

Commissioning & startup

Controls checkout, sequence verification, equipment coordination, and production startup support. Scope, site responsibilities, acceptance criteria, and scheduling are agreed for each project.

Troubleshooting & remote support

Intermittent faults, tracking errors, communications problems, and production interruptions. Remote work uses an access method approved by your organization and is scheduled by agreement.

Legacy control migrations

Upgrade aging PLC and HMI systems while preserving the process knowledge built into the existing installation. Work can include PLC-5 and SLC-500 migrations to CompactLogix or ControlLogix, field-device and communications reviews, operator-interface updates, cutover planning, and recovery procedures.

Production data & reporting

Database integration, historians, downtime capture, and reporting that helps your team understand production losses and system performance.

Platforms

Experience includes Allen-Bradley / Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, and CODESYS controls; Ignition, FactoryTalk View, Citect, Wonderware / AVEVA, and WinCC visualization; SQL databases and historians; and FANUC, Epson, and DENSO robotics. Platform and version requirements are confirmed during scoping. Product names identify technologies and do not imply manufacturer endorsement or a company partner designation.
